ZEWU brings ‘talk to my lawyer’ facility

Zimbabwe Energy Workers Union (ZEWU)

In a bid to provide legal cover to members, ZEWU recently struck a deal with Shield Legal Aid Society with union members being given preferential service.

The legal cover include injury or loss of lives in public vehicles, motor vehicle accidents, poor workmanship or negligent conduct, labour disputes, name changes, divorce disputes, deceased estate disputes, children maintenances and custody disputes, damages like defamation, seduction, adultery etc, debt collection among others.

ZEWU members who have been given preferential service in this facility can subscribe monthly with as little as $5 which is the gold plan.

The policy will only come into effect after three months from the date of joining. No premiums will be refunded after joining.

Members should approach their branch committees and national executive members for more information.
